Google disagreed with the PIPC’s decision and asked for a written report on this breach of privacy. Google also said that they have always been committed to following privacy laws declared by PIPC. The company always shares a demonstration of the updates the company makes to give full control and transparency to the users as well as provide the best possible products according to the requirements of the customers. Customer privacy is their first and foremost priority.

Meta also disagreed with the PIPC decision. The company said that they respect the decision of PIPC but Meta is confident that they haven’t breached any laws. The company works according to legal standards to protect users’ information. Also, the company works according to the requirements of local regulations. Meta said that they are open to all the options even if they have to go to court for the ruling.
